The draw is set to group 24 countries into six sets, each comprising four nations.

The defending champions, Senegal, find themselves in Pot 1, sharing the stage with seven-time victors Egypt, World Cup semi-finalists Morocco, and the host nation, Ivory Coast.

On the other hand, Ghana and Nigeria, both housed in the same pot, will not face off in the group stage, ensuring an exciting spectacle for fans.

Both teams have been placed in Pot 2 for the draw, which is scheduled to take place on October 12, 2023, in Abidjan.

The twenty-four qualifying teams for the tournament in Ivory Coast have been distributed across four pots, each containing six nations.
